Fullerton Transportation Center

The City of Fullerton selected a partnership of JMI Realty and the Morgan Group to serve as the Master Planner of the Fullerton Transportation Center (“FTC”), a 35-acre area surrounded by Orange County’s busiest Metrolink station. The proposed FTC Specific Plan project involves implementation of a mixed-use, transit-oriented development within and adjacent to the City’s Central Business District. The project site encompasses existing transit facilities, including an Orange County Transit Authority (OCTA) bus transfer terminal, and a train depot that services Amtrak and MetroLink trains. At full build-out, the development would include 100,000 SF of retail, 100,000 SF of office, 120,000 SF of hotel, 1,560 multi-family residential units, parks and a new parking structure. The City and JMI Realty/Morgan Group are focused on preserving the site’s historic buildings, incorporating cultural and civic spaces, and providing bicycle, pedestrian and bus access. The City of Fullerton Council selected JMI Realty largely due to its success in reinventing downtown San Diego and hopes to recreate the same success in Fullerton.
